OUR FIRST PRODUCT

DevOps Release Kit

A documented starting point for one stateless Docker application on Amazon ECS Fargate.

01 / INFRASTRUCTURE

A foundation you can edit.

Terraform for the network, load balancer, ECS service, ECR image repository and supporting resources. Generate provisioning permissions for your own account and project.

02 / RELEASES

A repeatable deployment path.

GitHub Actions workflows use short-lived AWS credentials through OIDC. Release scripts pin the image digest and check the requested task-definition rollout.

03 / OPERATIONS

Guidance after the first deploy.

Inspect releases, read logs and restore a known working task definition. Includes CloudWatch monitoring, a budget notification and documented cleanup commands.

04 / GETTING STARTED

Learn with the sample app.

Editable source, a small Docker app, tool installers, local checks and step-by-step setup and operations guides are included in the download.

START WITH THE RIGHT FIT

Small scope.
Clear requirements.

For developers who can already run a container locally and are comfortable with a terminal, GitHub and an AWS account.

Workstation
Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 or 26.04. The setup guide covers Windows with WSL2 and Docker Desktop.
Application
One stateless Linux/amd64 container, port 8080, and a /health endpoint returning HTTP 200. Runs as UID 10001 with a read-only root filesystem.
AWS regions
us-east-1, us-east-2 or us-west-2 in a standard commercial AWS account.
Architecture
One task by default, public subnets and no NAT gateway. This starter does not include a high-availability design, databases or migrations.
HTTPS
The sample endpoint starts with HTTP. HTTPS configuration uses your domain and an existing public Route 53 hosted zone before handling real users or sensitive content.

PURCHASE INFORMATION

Know what you're buying.

What will be delivered?

An editable source ZIP containing the infrastructure templates, workflows, scripts, sample app and guides. Return to your private order link, or the download page in the browser used for purchase, to download again. This is a downloadable software product. Hosting and operation of your AWS environment are your responsibility.

How does purchasing work?

The kit is $149 USD, one time. Checkout uses Stripe. A protected download page opens after payment confirmation. Read the license, refund and written-support terms before buying.

Are AWS charges included?

No. AWS resource usage, domain registration and third-party paid services are separate. A budget notification is an alert, not a spending cap. Scaling a service to zero does not delete the load balancer or every other billable resource.

What does rollback restore?

An application task definition. It cannot undo database migrations or other external effects. The first deployment has no previous working application revision to restore.

How are payments and privacy handled?

Stripe processes payments. Required cookies help recover your order and authorize downloads; we do not add buyers to a marketing list. Read our privacy notice.
